What is your relationship with food?

Food has always been a big part of my life, eating, cooking, creating! Everything! It wasn’t until I was in my late teens that I realised that this wasn’t normal ‘Oh, you don’t spend every waking second thinking about what you’re going to cook yourself for your next meal?’, ‘Oh, your most exciting part of your week isn’t your weekly shop?’. Turns out that this is unnatural behaviour for a 18 year old girl.

Which is your favourite restaurant at the moment?

Hmmmm, that’s a pretty serious question. I love the dirty american food concept that has totally taken over London in the past 5 years. For me, the springboard for that was Bodeans on Poland Street, I was introduced to it back in the early 2000s and it has become my staple for my pulled pork needs! If you’re in Central London and want a bite to eat for under a tenner, head there!

Favourite ingredient of all time?

Extra virgin olive oil, a lot of chefs will say butter, but I like to keep it nice and mediterranean. I could drink the stuff.

What is your relationship with food?

I suppose not the most of healthy one to be honest, In this instance I love too much…  I love to cook and eat, with friends, family or on my own. I love to read about it, research it, holiday just because of it, I guess you could say a bit of an obsession.  For me it’s a great way to relax, socialise… I need to have a food/life balance….

Which is your favourite restaurant at the moment?

I have too many favourites to choose one…. I like different restaurants for different reasons.  Some because they are simple, some because they are fancy and others just because they are reliable and consistent…

Favourite ingredient of all time?

Butter, it has to be butter, I just don’t believe in margarine.

What is your relationship with food?

It’s a huge part of my life. I tend to ask what’s for dinner when I’ve just finished lunch; I’m always looking forward to the next meal.

Which is your favourite restaurant at the moment?

That’s a tough question as it does change very often, living in London there is always a new restaurant opening or street food truck getting my attention, however right now I’d say it’s Casse-Croûte. A charming, all day French Bistro with red checked table cloths and charm your socks off staff.

Favourite ingredient of all time?

Salt, couldn’t imagine cooking without salt.
